Surgical Oncology: Research & Publications

Vadim Gushchin, M.D.

Surgical Oncology at Mercy is active in patient care as well as research and teaching. Our patients benefit from several national and international clinical and transitional trials which are being conducted by our team of clinicians, including a clinical epidemiologist and research nurses. Our results are presented at major national and international meetings and have been accepted for publication in highly rated peer review journals. Drs. Sardi and Gushchin are on the faculty of many oncology conferences and workshops. This academic approach to surgical oncology ensures that our patients are given individualized care based on the best available data.

Dr. Sardi’s publications and Dr. Gushchin’s publications are extensive lists and available for viewing.

The research activities of Surgical Oncology at Mercy are supported by the Surgical Oncology Research Fund. Click here for more information on how to provide support.
